Tools: Everyday Glasses and Dishes
The goal of Eat + Drink ≈ Anything is to train you to know the correct portion size in real world settings. Eat + Drink ≈ Anything is about learning to live in the real world and being able to eat and drink anything and still lose weight. The only tools you will need are a standard measuring cup, measuring spoons and your everyday glasses and dishes.
You will use the measuring spoons to see how different amounts will fill your bowls and dishes. Example you will see how much 1 cup or 1/2 cup of cereal will fit in your favorite bowl. You will also use the measuring cup to find out where 4 oz or 8 oz will fill your favorite glass.
You only need to do this once or twice, then you can eyeball from that point on. When you are at a restaurant, friend’s house or family dinner you will then be able to know your portion size.
