How Is It Possible to Be On a Diet and Never Be Hungry?

Many diets make you believe that you will need to be hungry in order to lose weight. That you will need “Will Power” in order to not eat. In reality, you should never be hungry. Being hungry is counterproductive, not only will you be miserable but you put your body into “Panic Mode” and you will be unable to lose weight. If you put your body in “Panic Mode” then any “Will Power” you have will be useless against 200,000 years of evolution. And even if you manage to overcome evolution and manage to lose weight, you must continue to be miserable for the rest of your life. So why go hungry?

Hunger happens because it is your body’s way of telling you to feed it. To give it the food it needs. And what does a body need? Your body needs three food types:


Three Food Types:

1. Carbs
2. Protein
3. Fat

(And we don’t mean Complex Carbs or Organic Proteins or Special Fats. We mean Carbs, Protein & Fat. A Big Mac has all three and so does a bland chicken breast with brown rice & salad.)


Within these three Food Types, there has to be vitamins and minerals your body requires. In addition, your body requires two things that have ZERO calories and that make things run smoothly: water and fiber.

If you do not eat all three Food Types containing vitamins and minerals and with adequate water and fiber; then you will not be giving your body what it needs. Your body will then panic and alert you by making you hungry. If you continue to feed it but do not give it what it needs then it will continue to alert you by always being hungry.

So the easiest way to not be hungry is to feed your body what it needs: Carbs, Protein & Fat.

Forget the No-Carb • No-Fat • No-Food Diets

You can see why a No-Carb Diet or a No-Fat Diet or a No-Food Diet will not work. You are going against what your body needs so your body will rebel and make you hungry.

You may not know it, but if you are overweight, you have unknowningly placed yourself on a diet. The diet you are on is one of not eating enough carbs or not eating enough protein or not enough fat. Or you may be eating foods that do not contain enough vitamins and minerals or not drinking enough water or not consuming enough fiber.

Other Reasons We Are Hungry

There are other reasons why we get hungry such as hormones, emotional and psychological reasons. Stress, depression and a lack of sleep can cause us to turn to “comfort foods” that we associate with pleasant feelings and overeat these foods. But on a daily basis these are not the reasons we go hungry 2-3 times a day.

You go hungry on a daily basis because you do not feed your body what it needs. Example: Some nutrition experts state that some food cravings for chocolate may be a sign of a B vitamin deficiency.

Fluctuation in blood sugar levels may also cause food cravings. Hypoglycemia, or low blood sugar, can be caused from not getting enough calories or not eating at regular intervals. Hypoglycemia’s affect on the body can be food cravings as the body feels as though it is starving.

On Eat + Drink ≈ Anything you will give your body everything it needs and in return your body will never be hungry.
